Afri Wang

Author, composer, performer, Afri, real name Hubert de Pago Wang, was born in 1979 in Cameroon. At the age of 14, he left the family nest, arrives in the United States and discovers the world Soul, RnB, Hip Hop, inspirations come from artists as diverse as Marvin Gaye, Ben Harper, R.Kelly and much more. Afri goes up a gear and did a first foray into the music world, so, his meeting with Magic Snar unborn group "Prophet". From here, the journey continues, a few years later, he arrived in France and cultivated his passion at the same time him incomparable voice.

It thus participates in the first part of Public Annoucement and "Dis l'Heure de Zouk"... but do the Freestyle with Ol'Kainry, Dj Mas and Slim (from Germany) and many others. The release of his first album "Only" deals with romantic relationships, one of the favourite themes artist, as well as the ups and downs of everyday life.

Afri is spotted by a producer of American musical structure of the da-swing productionz Label (Dany brown) who will implement a project of album with him.

This collaboration is vital for Afri because it offered him the opportunity to make an album with a color and an American sound. This Franco-American merger will enable Afri to have a dimension and a wider listening international.
