Born in Switzerland but conceived in Brazil, Savenah grew up between Angola, Congo, France and New-York. Nourished by a cultural mix of the 3 continents, Savenah is a soul singer with an atypical background in perpetual search of new horizons. Her musical influences are varied, from Tania Maria's bossa nova to Bob Marley's reggae, without forgetting her favorite style, the sung jazz, she weaves sensorial links with her music. Self-taught and passionate, she learned to sing by improvising on Ella Fitzgerald or Billie Holiday classics.

 

 In 2000, Savenah took gospel lessons in a choir called Trynyty because she felt the need to improve and surpass herself. Yolanda Adams and Kim Burrell were the great voices that showed her the way.

From then on, the singer with a multicultural heart devoted herself to her blossoming within different groups that she formed. She uses all the richness acquired during her travels by exploring without limits all musical universes: soul, jazz, acid jazz, funk fusion, rock, reggae, bossa nova, Angolan folklore, electro-soul and gospel, pop and hip-hop.

Experience

 

2000: Savenah takes gospel lessons for 2 years, joins the Trynyty group and performs regularly in churches and jazz festivals.

 

2002: She started a solo career and became the lead singer of different groups she formed.

 

2004: She started a jazz acid band, composed of an American guitarist and a Bulgarian pianist, with a repertoire of covers and original electro soul compositions. They perform in all the Parisian cafés then the man ray, and the triptych.

 

2005 : Collaboration with the guitarist Koobz around original compositions soul, pop, hip-hop

and in parallel she joins the Ethny company and makes her first steps in the theater.

 

2009/2010 : Meeting with the composer-director Dany Brown who offers her the opportunity to produce an album in the colors of New York.

 

2011 : She signs with the British label, Da-Swing productionz in London

 

2013 : Release of the single "Fall in love" from the album "X Identity
